Specifications
Selection of paper stock, printing process, and finishing details will determine the final look and durability of your printed items.
You should specify what colours you will be printing and how many. You will also
need to decide on the printing process you will use such as four colour
process (CMYK) and/or spot colour (PMS).
You can either specify the stock name, weight and colour, or submit a
sample for us to match. The selection of paper and any coatings applied
will determine the final outcome and look of the design being printed.
Tags can either be cut or die cut into various shapes. Most tags have
a hole punched or die cut to allow for stringing or other application
techniques. Eyelets can be used to reinforce the hole and for effect.
Eyelets come in a variety of different colours.
These can be added for gloss, durability and to prevent finger prints.
Embossing or debossing, scoring to make for an easier and/or better quality
fold, applying eyelets, stringing, hot and foil stamping, and double mounting
for a thicker tag are all techniques that we can apply to achieve the
effect that you want.
