Specifications

All our elastics and ribbons are custom made to your specifications. Branding can be added to almost every type of ribbon and elastic.

Ribbons

Ribbons are any narrow fabric that is not elastic in property. These have a variety of applications and can be branded with your logo.

• Satin Ribbon
  This is a soft ribbon with a sheen to the surface that can have your logo printed on it. Dyed-to-match programs are available.
• Webbing
  This has a tightly interlocked weave that usually creates a thicker, stiffer tape that is very strong. Your brand is woven or printed onto the webbing.
• Twill Tape
  Weaving creates a zig-zag pattern and is usually made from 100% unbleached cotton but can also be produced in synthetic fibers and multiple colours. Logos can be printed directly on the tape.

Elastics

Elastics can be braided, knitted or woven. These elastics can be branded with your logo at the time of weaving and can be flat or round.

• Braided Elastics
  These are identified by the lengthwise, parallel ribs that becomes narrower as stretched. Widths available include 3mm to 12mm.
• Knitted Elastics
  These elastics do not narrow when stretched and are strong and soft. Widths available include 3mm to 250mm.
• Woven Elastics
  These have crosswise, parallel ribs that create a window-pane effect and also do not narrow when stretched. Widths available include 3mm to 200mm.
• Bungee Cord Elastic
  This is also known as elastic string and is rounded. This has good stretch and recovery. Widths available include 1mm to 8mm.
