FinishesWoven labels can be finished in a number of different ways, depending on how the label is going to be used. The following are some of the most common methods of finishing labels:
SlittingMost broadloom labels are hot slit into ribbon form on the loom. This is the most cost effective method but can sometimes result in slightly imperfect edges. For smoother edges, labels can be ultra-sonic cut but this is slower and more costly than hot slit labels. Premium needle loom weaving results in the cleanest, softest edge labels but is more expensive than ultra-sonic slitting.
